The Cheat Code for Happiness Is...

Use M,<,>,? keys to play the notes on mouse and keyboard. -OR- Use Analog Sticks to play the notes on a controller. 

WELCOME TO THE CHEAT CODE FOR HAPPINESS IS...

(A cooperative [or competitive?] note highway rhythm game about mental health). 

You play as:  The “Music Player,” 

against your noisy surroundings. 

Defend yourself by thinking of CHEAT CODES 

to unlock Infinite Happiness!!!

HEADPHONES RECOMMENDED

This is a highway note rhythm game.

Navigate the menus with arrow keys/d-pad and select using the select button on gamepad or enter.

To start a song select which song you want then navigate to and press the "Launch Song" button.

For Multiplayer, to start the game, have two separate devices and press any button on each of them to enter the game.

You play the beat by either pressing the "M", ",", ".", and "/" (the four keys to the left of the right shift button) OR by using a controller and flicking the analog sticks up or down 

[**PLAYING WITH A CONTROLLER IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...**]

If you are to use a controller the layout of the judgement bar (the four bottom boxes) is as follows: 

Left stick up, Left stick down, Right stick down, Right stick up. 

Think of it as a split between the four lanes down the middle where the left and right two lanes represent the left and right analog sticks respectively. 

The direction in which you flick the analog stick is also laid out to mimic natural thumb movement: you flick your thumbs inward to hit the two middle lanes of notes, and you flick your thumbs outward to hit the two outer lanes of notes.
